'WHY IS THE FUTURE OF HERBALISM IN JEOPARDY AGAIN?'

In February 2011, after a massive campaign in which many thousands of people were involved, the Government announced that herbalists were to be statutorily regulated. This would ensure the safe practice of herbal medicine into the future. More than two years later, the Government has failed to act and all the signs are that it is about to do a U-turn. Michael McIntyre, one of the foremost herbalists in the UK who has led the campaign for the statutory regulation of herbalists, will explain why this is such a serious situation.
